Covid update

We were completely surprised and totally unexpecting the announcement on the BBC news today (28/05/20) that we will be able to reopen on 08/06/20. Please bear with us whilst we reorganise how the practice is going to work. Currently we have no guidance on what we can do or who we can see. When we do reopen it is going to be very different experience to what we were all used to. As you know we were an  extremely busy practice and often we would see and treat in excess of 100 patients a day between the 3 surgeries. With social distancing measures this may be down to 6 or 7 in total for the whole building. We donated our gloves and masks to local charities at the start of lock down as we expected to be closed for some time. We need to source new levels of PPE which are in extremely short supply worldwide. We also do not know what treatments we will be allowed to carry out. The virus is still present in the community and our main aim is to make sure everyone is safe. We are currently working on new protocols and policies to try and keep all our team and patients safe whilst in and around the practice. ALL PREBOOKED APPOINTMENTS FOR JUNE ARE CANCELLED. DO NOT ATTEND THE PRACTICE unless you have spoken to our reception from today (28/05/20) onwards
